Job summary

Hollingsworth & Vose is seeking an experienced HR leader at the West Groton facility to drive employee relations, staffing, and policy administration. You will partner with plant management, administer Workday data, and support union interactions to sustain a high-performance culture focused on safety and productivity.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in union HR, knowledge of employment laws, and proficiency with HR tech and AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5+ years of HR experience in a union environment.
• Experience applying federal and state employment laws and DEI principles.
• Comfort using Workday and AI-enabled HR technology to support recruiting and admin tasks.

Responsibilities

• Staffing: source, interview, background checks, and orientation to fill West Groton Plant roles.
• Serve as HR advisor to plant management; guide on employee relations and policy guidance.
• Manage timecard/payroll reviews and union contract interpretation; support grievances.
• Help develop and administer HR policies; drive continuous improvement in HR processes.
• Participate in CBA negotiations and assist in union grievance resolution.
