Job summary

Hollingsworth & Vose is seeking a Human Resources leader for the West Groton facility to partner with plant management and foster an employee-oriented, high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, productivity and continuous improvement.

The role covers onboarding/offboarding, policy administration, union contract/grievance handling, and employee relations across the site, including union interactions and Workday administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field required.
• 5+ years HR experience in a union environment preferred.
• HR certification a plus (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/PHR/SPHR).
• Experience with AI-enabled HR tech and modern HR systems (Workday).

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant management as HR advisor on business/workforce decisions.
• Oversee staffing: sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, background checks, orientations.
• Assist in union contract interpretation and grievance administration; participate in negotiations.
• Manage Workday transactions: new hire, termination, and data accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement in HR processes, policies and practices.
