C&F Enterprises Inc. in the Hampton Roads region seeks an HR Generalist to provide hands-on HR support at two warehouse facilities, covering the full employee lifecycle from recruiting and onboarding to performance management and compliance.

You will partner with site leadership to promote a safe, productive, and engaged workforce. The role emphasizes Training & Organizational Development, leadership coaching, and program coordination, while supporting workforce planning, employee relations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, or related field.
• 5 years HR generalist experience with data, analysis trends and reports.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, compensation, recruitment, benefits, and leave of absence laws.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, develop, and facilitate employee training programs across both warehouse locations with consistent content and delivery.
• Manage new-hire orientation and onboarding programs including policies and safety awareness.
• Partner with leadership to identify training needs, skill gaps, and development opportunities for hourly employees, team leads, supervisors, and managers.
• Support frontline leaders through supervisor training, coaching, performance management guidance, and employee relations education.
• Assist in developing individual development plans, career progression, cross-training, and succession planning activities.
• Coordinate annual and ongoing training requirements, maintain training records, monitor completion, and communicate outstanding requirements to managers.
