Job summary

Tournesol Siteworks seeks an Employee Success Specialist to partner with the Employee Success Manager in Port Orchard, WA. The role focuses on recruiting and supporting strategic HR initiatives for the manufacturing plant, acting as the on-site contact for team members.

You will lead hiring, onboarding, benefits questions, and HR process improvements while upholding company values and fostering a positive workplace culture across the facility.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Generalist or Recruiter.
• Strong knowledge of WA state and Kitsap County labor laws.
• Experience with workers' compensation claims process (L&I).
• Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to problem-solve and address issues professionally and confidentially.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems like Rippling (a plus).
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint).
• Manufacturing or construction background preferred.
• Customer-centric, team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the recruiting function for the organization and fill open positions quickly.
• Conduct kickoff meetings with hiring managers to set role expectations and candidate criteria.
• Serve as primary contact for candidates during the interview process and coordinate logistics.
• Administer new hire processes including offer letters and onboarding documentation.
• Conduct new hire orientations for production team members and ensure welcoming experience.
• Build strong relationships with employees and maintain clear escalation channels.
• Model and reinforce company values through daily interactions.
• Support leaders on workplace investigations, documentation, and compliance.
• Provide timely information to the Manager regarding injuries, grievances, and time-sensitive matters.
• Answer basic questions about benefits (medical, dental, vision, retirement).
• Assist with annual audits (ERISA, general liability, workers comp).
• Assist Production Manager with timecard review and attendance reporting.
• Coordinate in-office events and team activities.
• Provide other project support as needed.
