Job summary

Tailored Label Products, Inc. (TLP) in Menomonee Falls, WI, is seeking an HR Generalist who loves recruiting. You will handle sourcing, phone screens, and partnering with hiring managers, while guiding new hires through onboarding and orientation.

The role blends office work with time on the manufacturing floor. You’ll also support daily HR tasks like answering policy questions, benefits, leaves, and employee relations, ensuring records and HRIS data stay accurate.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of HR experience with a strong recruiting background.
• Knowledge of FMLA, workers' comp, EEO, I-9, and wage/hour laws.
• Experience with an ATS and HRIS; Paylocity experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and people skills; reliable.
• Ability to stay organized managing multiple openings and deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Associate/Bachelor in HR or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• aPHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles from sourcing to offers.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and find candidates.
• Coordinate onboarding and lead new-hire orientation.
• Answer employee questions about policies, benefits, and leaves.
• Support supervisors with day-to-day employee relations.
• Administer leave of absence processes including FMLA and workers' comp.
• Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems.
• Coordinate employee training and HR events.
• Support employee engagement and wellness initiatives.
• Identify ways to improve HR processes and employee experience.
