Job summary

Aquarius Professional Staffing is seeking an HR Generalist to independently manage HR programs for a 500+ employee organization. The role covers interviewing, wage and salary administration, training, benefits, and policy interpretation in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–3+ years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, with hands-on Workday and UKG/payroll familiarity, and strong communication skills to coach managers and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• 1–3+ years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong experience with Employee Relations.
• Experience with Workday.

Responsibilities

• Carry out HR policies and programs across interviewing, wage/salary admin, personnel admin, training, and benefits.
• Oversee HR operations for 500+ employees.
• Manage 15+ employee relations cases per month.
• Communicate and interpret HR policies and procedures.
• Coach managers and staff on performance, terminations, harassment, and discrimination.
• Coordinate employee activities and programs.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
• Recruit, screen, and interview applicants; extend offers.
• Conduct job analyses and write job descriptions for non-benchmark roles.
• Assist with open enrollment and benefits education.
