Job summary

Basic Fun! is seeking an HR Generalist to shape the employee experience at our Boca Raton headquarters. You will partner with leaders to drive recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll, and employee relations while helping scale our growing global brand.

In this full-time, on-site role, you will manage day-to-day HR operations, maintain accurate HRIS records (Paycom preferred), and implement process improvements to enhance engagement and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Three or more years of Human Resources experience preferred.
• Experience supporting full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience with HRIS systems; Paycom experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset and passion for creating outstanding employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions.
• Partner with managers to forecast staffing needs.
• Develop sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
• Build proactive talent pipelines for future hiring.
• Conduct screening interviews and coordinate interviews.
• Coordinate background checks and references.
• Deliver exceptional candidate experience from first contact to onboarding.
• Track recruiting metrics and improve hiring effectiveness.
• Collaborate with external agencies to supplement recruiting when needed.
