Job summary

Clark Group in McLean, VA seeks a Generalist/Manager of Human Resources to deliver core HR services and partner with business leaders on talent and development initiatives. The role reports to an HR Manager and is based in the McLean office.

Core duties include employee relations, learning and development coordination, workforce planning, and driving HR best practices. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of HR leadership experience are required, with a strong orientation toward hands-on execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of people management / HR experience.
• Experience including organizational development, HR administration and business support.
• Willingness to do the hands-on work.
• Knowledge of professional HR best practices and industry trends.
• HR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver core HR services including strategic business planning and partnering, staffing, employee relations, coaching and organizational development.
• Partner with the business to identify and drive key HR initiatives such as leadership development, talent/performance management, change management, workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employee development.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and drive alignment and effectiveness of HR initiatives.
• Recommend and improve HR systems, policies, and processes based on market trends.
• Serve as a coach and advisor to employees and management.
