Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support staffing, employee relations, compensation, benefits and onboarding. You will collaborate with senior leadership to promote a positive culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive retention through effective HR programs.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in business or HR, 3–5 years of generalist HR experience, and strong communication skills. SHRM credentials are a plus; HRIS proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or HR management.
• 3–5 years of generalist HR experience.
• SHRM-CP and/or SHRM-SCP a plus.
• Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with HRIS programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage HR planning and staffing to ensure the right people in the right roles promptly.
• Collaborate with the VP, Operations to manage HR and employee relations for maximum productivity.
• Develop and implement competitive compensation programs within budget.
• Maintain and resolve issues for benefits programs and claims.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Maintain personnel policies and employee handbooks; write policies as needed.
• Provide guidance on performance management and coaching for managers.
• Process payroll and maintain HR databases and retention statistics.
• Oversee onboarding, orientation, and new hire activities.
