UFP Industries is seeking an HR Generalist to provide guidance on employee-related matters through collaboration with local management and corporate HR. The role covers recruiting, onboarding, policy administration, safety compliance, and employee relations.

The position supports annual performance reviews, benefits administration, and record-keeping in a manufacturing setting. On-site duties are expected in Las Vegas, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5 years of human resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to build and sustain confidence and credibility at all levels.
• Demonstrated experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Result-oriented with the ability to drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting efforts for division hourly and salaried employees.
• Oversee new hire onboarding, orientation and training.
• Administer insurance programs and manage billing.
• Develop and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Counsel management on employee disciplinary actions and policy.
• Lead safety compliance and OSHA documentation.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Manage vacation policies and respond to legislative changes.
• Oversee performance appraisals for hourly and salaried staff.
• Maintain bonus plans, hiring records and training compliance.
• Maintain PMP documentation for all employees.
• Maintain roster, turnover, and employee records.
• Coordinate employee events and internal communications.
