Job summary

The Human Resources Generalist at Papillion La Vista Community Schools Central Office supports a broad range of HR functions, with a focus on FMLA, onboarding, records, and recruiting processes.

You will serve as a key contact for staff and the public, ensuring responsive service, confidentiality, and accurate data entry while collaborating with HR leadership on ongoing projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience with FMLA or Human Resources
• Degree in Human Resources or related area preferred
• Excellent communication, technology, and clerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of FMLA administration and track leave status.
• Support Student Teacher onboarding and required onboarding paperwork.
• Monitor Substitute Teacher applications and complete onboarding processes.
• Process and track Long-term substitutes, including badge, technology and payroll requirements.
• Assist onboarding with copies, data entry, scheduling OT appointments, access cards, background checks, etc.
• Communicate with HR and Building Administrators when new staff are cleared to begin positions.
• Conduct reference checks and manage Spark Hire video interviews.
• Collaborate with HR team on various projects.
• Provide backup for Central Office front desk.
• Other duties as assigned.
