Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Temple, TX is seeking an HR Generalist to coordinate daily HR functions and support a dynamic team. This is a training designation, with relocation to other McLane divisions as needed.

You will assist in training programs, manage recruitment activities, maintain records, and help ensure legal and policy compliance. A bachelor's degree and 2+ years of HR experience are expected, with strong MS Office and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years in Human Resources.
• Experience in training and coaching.
• Knowledge of safety practices.
• Strong MS Office; PeopleSoft preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist and observe in training programs to ensure compliance.
• Facilitate mandatory trainings and safety classes.
• Maintain HR records, relocation billing, safety investigations.
• Coordinate events and recruitment activities.
• Support HR Manager as needed.
• Ensure compliant employment processes and fair treatment of applicants.
• Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation and onboarding.
• Promote teammate morale and open communication.
