Job summary

QQR Logistics and QQR Transport is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to own HR functions including recruitment support, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and payroll coordination. The role partners with Paychex PEO and Finance to meet hiring goals and manage a growing, multi-state workforce.

The position oversees ATS, Paychex PEO relationship, and HR policy across the company as it scales through acquisitions, with a focus on accurate records, compliance, and employee

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an HR generalist or combined HR/payroll role.
• Experience with a PEO (Paychex preferred).
• Experience administering or working in an ATS.
• Understanding of basic employment law (FLSA, FMLA) and payroll compliance.
• Excellent communication skills with drivers, staff, managers, and executives.
• Strong organization skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer ATS for posting, pipeline hygiene, reporting, and interviews.
• Manage Paychex PEO relationship end-to-end: benefits, payroll, renewals, escalations.
• Partner with executives and managers to meet hiring goals and maintain HR policy.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, benefits enrollment, and leave management (FMLA, workers' comp).
• Maintain HRIS data, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with FMCSA requirements for drivers.
