Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an HR Business Partner (Employee Relations) to partner with leaders and employees, guiding policies and programs to support the SpaceX mission. You will handle employee relations, performance guidance, and organizational development in a fast-paced, highly confidential environment.

Relocation to Starbase, TX may be required; travel to other SpaceX locations may be needed. A background in engineering or manufacturing HR and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of human resources experience.
• Experience in an engineering, production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to build effective relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on employee relations issues and HR functions.
• Serve as a key business partner to employees, managers and senior leaders on workforce analytics and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR functions to optimize programs for client groups and SpaceX-wide initiatives.
• Counsel managers and employees guided by policies and laws/regulations.
• Support retention, career development and minimize business risk through talent initiatives.
• Facilitate transfers, promotions, exit interviews and trend analysis.
• Maintain confidentiality and manage HR documentation in systems.
