Job summary

QuickLine Freight Transport is seeking a detail-driven HR teammate to keep our people operations running smoothly. You’ll support recruiting, onboarding, records, and day-to-day employee requests—partnering with hiring managers and delivering a great candidate/employee experience.

You will post roles, screen resumes, schedule interviews, run offer letters, background checks, I-9/E-Verify, and onboarding for new hires, while maintaining HRIS data and assisting benefits, payroll, and compliance

Qualifications

• Experience supporting recruiting and onboarding processes.
• Familiarity with HR policies and compliance reporting (EEO, ACA).
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Post roles, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate hiring steps.
• Run offer letters, background checks, I-9/E-Verify, and new-hire onboarding.
• Maintain accurate employee files and HRIS data; track changes and approvals.
• Support benefits enrollment, eligibility questions, and open enrollment logistics.
• Assist timekeeping/payroll teams with timesheet audits and corrections.
• Field HR inquiries, route issues, and support timely resolutions.
• Draft/update handbooks, SOPs, and HR templates; assist compliance reporting.
• Track training/compliance completions and coordinate quarterly refreshers.
• Prepare simple HR metrics (headcount, openings, time-to-hire) for leadership.
