Job summary

TaskUs in California is seeking an HR Generalist to support Employee Relations and special projects. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will help onboard new hires, maintain HR records, and drive HR initiatives across our fast-growing team.

You should have a Bachelor’s in HR or related field, 2+ years HR experience (call center a plus), strong English, and knowledge of HRIS, employment law. This office-based role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, Finance or equivalent.
• 2+ years HR experience; call center experience preferred.
• Strong multitasking and detail-oriented with excellent communication.
• Experience with HRIS, Reporting, Benefits and Compensation may be a plus.
• Knowledge of state and federal employment law.

Responsibilities

• Develop HR solutions by collecting and analyzing information and recommending actions.
• Improve manager and employee performance by identifying problems and evaluating solutions.
• Manage special projects with timelines and coordination.
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Ensure compliance with local and federal laws and advise management as needed.
• Onboard new hires with a strong candidate experience.
• Support payroll and onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Maintain a positive culture and open-door policy.
• Review HR applications and liaise with payroll/legal.
