Job summary

Tencent is seeking a motivated HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team in California. The role supports employee relations, performance management, onboarding, and offboarding processes, while assisting with immigration operations and policy development.

You will partner with managers and employees across the organization to ensure compliant HR practices, maintain accurate records, and safeguard data privacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in HR or related roles preferred.
• Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment and immigration laws.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Sr. HR Business Partner in delivering HR services including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs in line with company goals and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in immigration operations: reviewing work permits, maintaining records, and communicating with employees and managers.
• Act as a resource for employees regarding HR policies and procedures with timely, accurate responses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address employee relations issues and performance management matters.
