Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale in Texas is seeking a HR Generalist who, under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager, performs HR operations and ensures compliance with applicable laws.

The role involves data analysis, reporting, leave processing, maintaining job descriptions, maintaining confidentiality, recruitment support, and coordination with hospital leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years business/administrative and/or supervisory experience.
• 4–6 years HR experience required.
• Ability to communicate in English, orally and in writing.
• Additional languages preferred.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Excellent computer skills with spreadsheets, publishing, graphics, and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Maintains professional conduct and models hospital values.
• Compiles data regarding orientation, turnover, vacancies and assists the Director of Operations in analysis.
• Able to put together data from different sources for special projects; prepares reports.
• Responsible for processing leave of absence, including worker’s comp claims, and following up on correspondence.
• Maintains current job descriptions.
• Maintains confidentiality of all HR and payroll information.
