Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an HR Generalist to provide full-service human resources management for both hourly and salaried employees. The role may liaise with Sr. HR Manager and supervise on-site HR processes.

Responsibilities include employee relations, onboarding, staffing, records management, training, and compliance with state and federal law. The position supports budget activities and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR management, industrial psychology or business administration.
• At least 3–5 years in a progressively responsible HR generalist role with no degree; or 3+ years in a professional/managerial HR role with a bachelor’s.
• HR certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate orientation and onboarding programs for new hires.
• Manage employee relations, investigations, and policy compliance.
• Lead staffing efforts, recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Maintain HR records, generate reports and manage budgets.
• Support training and safety initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
