Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Site HR Coordinator to support HR functions at the site level, acting as an advocate for communications and safety where needed. You will manage new hire data in HRIS, assist with payroll audits, and coordinate benefits and onboarding activities.

The role requires strong MS Office skills, 2+ years of administrative HR support, and the ability to work cross-functionally with vendors and site management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience of progressive administrative support required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred; If no degree, equivalent years of HR experience is preferred.
• HR/payroll systems experience preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint with data entry ability.
• Excellent communication, verbal and written; comfortable presenting to groups.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Positive attitude and good people skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Enter all new hire information in HRIS and maintain updates per policy.
• Perform weekly audits of timesheets for payroll processing.
• Process background checks and pre-employment screening activities.
• Conduct New Hire Orientation including benefits education and policies.
• Coordinate with HRIS for site-based timeclocks support.
• Report on employee data including financial and labor data; review invoices.
• Assist in recruiting, screening, interviewing, hiring/terminating and training new employees.
• Coordinate orders with vendors for office equipment and temporary personnel.
• Communicate company announcements and updates to policies.
