Job summary

POM Wonderful is seeking a Human Resources Generalist in California to handle payroll processing, benefits administration, leaves, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment, and employee relations. The role collaborates with senior HR management to support business goals.

The position requires knowledge of California employment law, fluency in Spanish, and the ability to manage time and communicate effectively across all levels.

Qualifications

• BA or related field required; HR experience in manufacturing/production preferred.
• PHR or SPHR designation is desirable but not mandatory.
• Fluent in Spanish with strong communication and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve HR policy, compliance, and process issues and drive improvements.
• Maintain HR policies aligned with California employment law and WOW methodology.
• Process payroll changes, hires, promotions, and terminations.
• Review timecards, schedules, and wage changes for wage/hour compliance.
• Provide guidance to managers on employee relations and performance issues.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and New Hire Orientation.
• Support annual compensation planning and development conversations.
• Promote ongoing learning, mentorship, and development activities.
• Stay informed on market trends and benefit inquiries; coordinate with benefits.
