Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years of HR experience.
• 2 years of payroll processing experience.
• Strong understanding of HR practices, compliance, and employee relations.
• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems.
• Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process and submit payroll accurately and on time.
• Review and approve employee timecards through a cloud-based system.
• Maintain payroll records and employee data.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Assist with payroll-related audits and reporting.
• Coordinate the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
• Support employee policies, procedures, and handbook updates.
• Serve as a trusted resource for payroll, benefits, and HR programs.
• Assist with employee communications and HR initiatives.
• Administer employee benefit programs.
• Support vacation, sick leave, and leave tracking.
• Assist employees with benefit-related questions.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and disability claims.
• Ensure compliance with benefit and leave policies.
• Maintain HR compliance records and certifications.
• Support corrective action documentation and HR investigations.
• Assist leadership with policy implementation and employee relations matters.
• Help ensure compliance with employment regulations and company policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
• Assist with recruitment and hiring activities.
• Manage office inventory and administrative records.
• Support fleet registration and compliance tracking.
• Partner with management on various operational and HR initiatives.
• Contribute to process improvements and organizational efficiency.
