Job summary

Digilock in Houston, TX is seeking a detail-oriented HR Generalist to support daily HR operations from our Houston office. Reporting to the HR Director, you will manage recruiting, onboarding, records, benefits, payroll, employee relations, and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle international HR processes, maintain confidentiality, and partner with the HR Director on special projects and reporting. A competitive salary and benefits package accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of HR generalist experience.
• Working knowledge of HR processes and employment law.
• Experience with HRIS, benefits administration, and payroll systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency in MS Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment process for assigned roles and coordinate interviews.
• Prepare offer letters and new-hire documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation activities.
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Process status changes, including promotions and separations.
• Support HR processes for international employees as directed.
• Administer benefits programs and assist with timekeeping for bi-weekly payroll.
• Respond to employee inquiries on HR policies and programs.
• Support HR initiatives like engagement surveys and training.
• Prepare HR reports and metrics for the HR Director.
