Job summary

NYK Group Americas Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations and support the Director/VP of HR. You will manage core HR programs, advise managers, develop the HR team, and collaborate with global stakeholders to drive organizational effectiveness.

The role reports to the HR leadership and requires a strong background in payroll coordination, benefits, compliance, and employee relations. Salary range is $120k-$140k, with regular full-time duties in Secaucus, NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
• Five+ years of progressive HR experience across multiple HR disciplines.
• Experience supervising HR staff or managing significant HR programs.
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment practices, compliance, payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day HR operations and advise managers on workforce matters.
• Manage payroll coordination, benefits administration, HR systems, and annual HR programs.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Payroll, vendors, and advisors on compliance and audits.
• Lead recruitment and onboarding activities with hiring managers on workforce planning.
