Job summary

Magna Exteriors Brownstown is seeking an HR Generalist to provide guidance and support to Team Members, Team Leaders and Managers. The role will involve proactive complaint resolution, coordinating actions and investigations, and backing up recruiting across hourly and salaried positions.

The person will coordinate onboarding with Workday/Dayforce implementations and lead New Hire Orientation, while tracking compliance training and tuition reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall guidance and support for Team Members, Team Leaders and Managers at Magna Exteriors Brownstown.
• Work with TLs and Managers in a proactive role, promoting the Open Door Process to resolve complaints.
• Coordinate corrective actions and investigations as needed for the assigned department and shift.
• Back up for Recruiting for all hourly and salary positions; includes initial screening, coordinating interviews with hiring managers, giving feedback, preparing offer letters, and setting candidates up for new hire orientation.
• Coordinate the Workday/Dayforce/Authenticator implementation for all new hires and lead New Hire Orientation activities.
• Track and monitor legal compliance training as directed by Magna.
• Process all tuition reimbursement submissions timely and accurately.
• Process all unemployment claims timely and accurately.
• Support company functions and special events.
• And other tasks as required
