Job summary

College Hospital Costa Mesa is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to manage onboarding and HR operations in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role collaborates with nursing managers, maintains accurate personnel records, and ensures timely completion of new hire paperwork and orientation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in human resources is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handles multiple tasks timely and accurately while receiving calls and inquiries.
• Works with nursing managers to make offers and coordinate interviews and onboarding.
• Completes the onboarding process in collaboration with hiring managers and maintains accurate files.
• Processes new hires for CHE, contract services, and interns and creates new employee files.
• Produces badges and prepares new hire orientation packets.
• Conducts New Employee Orientation and follows up on paperwork completeness.
• Maintains bidding logs, weekly reports, and open position lists, posting ads as needed.
• Manages employee referral program and prepares data tabulations for special projects.
