Job summary

Ascendo Resources in South Florida seeks a highly organized Human Resources Specialist to support onboarding, payroll, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

You will assist with HR admin, onboarding, records management, benefits, policies, and serve as a trusted partner to leaders and employees, balancing strategy with hands-on execution.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or Business Partner.
• Professional HR certification preferred.
• Strong influencing and relationship management skills.
• Excellent written, oral, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records and organizing HR databases.
• Facilitate onboarding for new hires, including offer letters and orientation sessions.
• Maintain accurate employee records and manage changes such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
• Support benefits enrollment and liaise with providers to administer programs.
• Develop and implement HR policies and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Handle employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and programs.
