Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is assisting a long-term client in New Haven to add an HR Generalist to their team. On-site with a large free parking lot and flexible hours (8:30–4:30 or 9:00–5:00), the position offers about $27 per hour.

You’ll manage fingerprinting and background checks, support onboarding and HR communications, and partner closely with payroll. You’ll stay ahead of changing compliance requirements and have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities such as FMLA.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3 years of HR experience.
• Hands-on onboarding experience.
• HRIS experience; Paycom is a plus.
• Strong organization and follow-through.
• Collaborative worker who can independently own responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Managing new hire fingerprinting and background check compliance across the organization.
• Supporting onboarding and essential HR communications.
• Partnering closely with payroll and other members of the HR team.
• Staying on top of changing compliance requirements and procedures.
• Opportunity to take on additional responsibilities, including FMLA, over time.
