Job summary

Thom Child and Family Services in Framingham, MA is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support the HR/Payroll team and supervise the HR Coordinator. You will oversee onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and leave management while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
• Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience
• Experience supervising HR support staff and handling benefits and leave management

Responsibilities

• Supervise HR Coordinator and oversee HR tasks to ensure timely completion
• Oversee onboarding and orientation for new hires in collaboration with HR/Payroll and other departments
• Serve as first point of contact for HR policies, employee relations, and compliance with laws and regulations
• Administer and manage employee engagement surveys and assist with results analysis
• Develop and deliver trainings on HR topics (workers’ compensation, unemployment, performance management, leaves)
• Oversee benefits administration, open enrollment, vendor communications, and billing questions
• Oversee leave administration (FMLA, PFML, LTD, etc.) and accommodation processes
• Provide payroll support and collaborate with Payroll Manager to ensure accuracy
