Job summary

Thom Child & Family Services is seeking an HR Generalist in Framingham, MA to support the HR/Payroll team, oversee onboarding, and handle employee relations and benefits administration. You will act as a trusted adviser to the Director of HR and collaborate with program directors on HR policies and compliance.

The role requires deep knowledge of HR processes, benefits, leaves, and payroll support, with a focus on developing talent and maintaining accurate employee records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (preferred), Management, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience including benefits, leaves, and employment law.
• Experience supervising HR support staff and with ADP Workforce Now is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise HR Coordinator and ensure timely completion of HR tasks.
• Oversee new hire onboarding and orientation in collaboration with HR/Payroll, Training, and Development.
• Provide strategic partnership on employee relations and policy interpretation.
• Administer benefits, open enrollment, and vendor communications.
• Oversee leave administration including FMLA, PFML, LTD, and related laws.
• Assist with payroll coverage and ensure accurate payroll processing.
