Koroseal Interior Products in Medina, OH is seeking an HR Generalist to support recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, and daily HR operations. This on-site role collaborates with employees, leaders, and HR colleagues to foster a positive workplace.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in HR or related field and at least 2 years of HR experience, including compliance and benefits. Strong communication, confidentiality, and organization are essential in this fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• 2+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, benefits, onboarding, and compliance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Experience with an HRIS, timekeeping, recruiting, or applicant tracking.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Experience supporting employee engagement or training initiatives.
• Must be able to walk and sit for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee concerns.
• Partner with managers on employee relations matters, attendance, performance, and conflicts.
• Guide managers on interpretation and application of HR practices.
• Support investigations, corrective actions, and related documentation.
• Manage recruiting and onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork and orientation.
• Maintain accurate HR records in the HRIS across the employee lifecycle.
• Administer benefits programs, enrollments, and open enrollment.
• Administer leaves of absence (FMLA, disability, etc.).
• Coordinate offboarding, HRIS updates, benefits notifications, and separation activities.
• Assist with performance management, coaching, and action documentation.
• Escalate complex issues to HR leadership as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Support HR projects, process improvements, and engagement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
