Job summary

MetroPlus is seeking an HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations for 300+ employees in a hybrid New York environment. You will manage onboarding, offboarding, data integrity in PeopleSoft, benefits enrollment, and performance support across the organization.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years in HR, with strong MS Office skills and experience in HRIS (PeopleSoft). You will collaborate with the HR Manager and serve as a liaison for employees and managers on policy and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 2-3 years of experience in a Human Resources role.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with HRIS/PeopleSoft preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Maintain data integrity in HRIS and PeopleSoft transactions.
• Administer benefits enrollment and respond to benefits inquiries.
• Support payroll data accuracy and compliance audits.
• Liaise with employees and management on HR policies and inquiries.
• Assist with personnel matters and project tasks across HR functions.
• Conduct background investigations as part of new hires and ongoing checks.
