Job summary

Vaco by Highspring seeks an outgoing HR professional to shape employee experience and culture for a growing, PE-backed services company. This role is field-facing and not desk-bound, with on-site Jacksonville work and 20% travel between Ocala locations.

You will own recruiting, onboarding, engagement, and benefits messaging to support a hands-on blue-collar workforce, collaborating with leaders and technicians alike.

Our client, a PE-backed services company growing quickly through acquisitions, is looking for an outgoing, high-energy HR professional to shape its employee experience and culture. This isn't a behind-the-desk HR role. You'll be out with the team, building relationships with field technicians and leaders alike, and bringing personality to how the company hires, onboards and engages its people.

Location

Jacksonville, FL (32246). On-site daily, with 20% travel between company locations (Ocala, FL)

Compensation

$55,000-$70,000 salary + annual bonus

Day to Day

• Recruiting: Drive hiring for field technicians (3-4 per month) and corporate roles. Review and score resumes, coordinate assessments, and schedule interviews.
• Onboarding: Bring a new perspective and more structure to how new hires are welcomed and set up to succeed.
• Engagement and culture: Build a stronger employee experience and help people feel connected to the company.
• Benefits communication: Help employees understand the value of their benefits in a clear, engaging way and drive enrollment.
• HR processes: Manage day-to-day HR processes, with PEO support behind you for the heavier lifting.

• Experience in recruiting, onboarding or employee engagement, ideally with a blue-collar or field workforce
