Job summary

The Sisters of Charity Health System is seeking a full-time Human Resource Generalist in Ohio to assist in daily HR operations, hire and interview staff, administer pay, benefits, and leave, and enforce HR policies. You will manage the HRIS (Paycor), data entry, reporting, onboarding, and new employee orientation.

You will help ensure regulatory compliance, back-up benefits administration, and support for leaves of absence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience
• At least two years' related HR experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; quick learner of HRIS systems

Responsibilities

• Administer HR programs including compensation, benefits, and leave; handle disciplinary matters and investigations
• Recruit, interview, and onboard staff; partner with managers to define required skills
• Develop and implement HR policies; respond to inquiries from applicants and staff
• Maintain HRIS data accuracy, generate reports, and ensure regulatory compliance
• Provide HR support to employees and leadership; back-up to Benefits Manager
• Prepare annual reports (EEO-1, OSHA 300, BLS) and other required logs
