Job summary

InteLogix is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support HR programs, maintain HRIS records, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and California wage/hour laws. You will handle employee relations, investigations, and policy administration with discretion.

This full-time, exempt role is remote, open to candidates across several states, and requires ~5+ years in HR, including CA-specific experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• 5+ years of HR generalist experience with California employees and CA wage/hour rules.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with HRIS systems.

• Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
• Participate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.

• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
• Support performance management processes, including disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
• Conduct HR investigations as needed and provide appropriate recommendations.

Requirements

• ~5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• ~5+ years of HR generalist experience supporting California employees, including working knowledge of CA wage and hour rules (meal/rest periods, overtime, final pay), CFRA/PDL leave, PAGA exposure, and California-specific compliance.
• ~ Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
• ~ Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• ~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• ~ Experience with HRIS systems.
• ~ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or relevant experience.
