Job summary

InteLogix is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for a remote role with a strong CA compliance focus. You will support HR operations, policy development, and confidential employee relations across regions.

The ideal candidate will have ~5+ years in HR generalist roles, CA wage/hour knowledge, and proficiency with HRIS and MS Office. A Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• ~5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• ~5+ years supporting California employees with CA wage/hour, CFRA/PDL, PAGA, and CA compliance.
• Knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including compensation, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal/state laws.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing personnel policies; maintain employee handbook.
• Handle employee relations counseling and exit interviewing.
• Attend administrative staff meetings and seminars.
• Maintain HRIS records and generate reports.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws/regulations.
• Support performance management processes and discipline actions.
• Conduct HR investigations and provide recommendations.

Responsibilities

• assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
• Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
• Participate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
• Maintain human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
• Support performance management processes, including disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
• Conduct HR investigations as needed and provide appropriate recommendations.

Requirements

• ~5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• ~5+ years of HR generalist experience supporting California employees, including working knowledge of CA wage and hour rules (meal/rest periods, overtime, final pay), CFRA/PDL leave, PAGA exposure, and California-specific compliance.
• ~ Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
• ~ Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• ~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• ~ Experience with HRIS systems.
• ~ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or relevant experience.
