Job summary

InteLogix is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role supports a range of HR activities, including policy development, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with federal and state laws.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HR experience, with specific experience in California wage/hour rules and CFRA/PDL leave, and proficiency with HRIS systems. The position is full-time and remote, with open to candidates across multiple states.

Human Resources Generalist

Responsibilities

• assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
• Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
• Participate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
• Maintain human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
• Support performance management processes, including disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
• Conduct HR investigations as needed and provide appropriate recommendations.

Requirements

• ~5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• ~5+ years of HR generalist experience supporting California employees, including working knowledge of CA wage and hour rules (meal/rest periods, overtime, final pay), CFRA/PDL leave, PAGA exposure, and California-specific compliance.
• ~ Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
• ~ Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• ~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• ~ Experience with HRIS systems.
• ~ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or relevant experience.
