InteLogix seeks an HR Generalist to support California-focused initiatives in a fully remote role. You will influence employee relations, onboarding, performance management, and policy implementation while ensuring compliance with CA laws.

This is a full-time, exempt position with benefits such as medical/dental/vision and paid holidays. Ideal candidates have 5+ years HR experience and a bachelor's degree.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• Experience supporting California employees including CA wage/hour rules, CFRA/PDL leave, PAGA exposure, and California-specific compliance.
• Working knowledge of compensation, organizational development, employee and union relations, diversity, and employment laws.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting designated geographic regions with a primary focus in California. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance.

• assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
• Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
• Participate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
• Maintain human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
• Support performance management processes, including disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
• Conduct HR investigations as needed and provide appropriate recommendations.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or relevant experience.

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• 5+ years of HR generalist experience supporting California employees, including working knowledge of CA wage and hour rules (meal/rest periods, overtime, final pay), CFRA/PDL leave, PAGA exposure, and California-specific compliance.
• Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with HRIS systems.
