Job summary

VERSANT Media in New York, NY is seeking an HR Generalist to provide full-cycle HR support for the MSNOW business. The role partners with business leaders, employees, and the HR team to drive engagement and implement cross-functional initiatives and special projects.

Responsibilities include staffing, onboarding and offboarding, performance management, compensation planning, reporting and analytics, and employee relations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience supporting a fast-paced employee population.
• 3+ years in recruitment, performance management, compensation planning, employee relations, and organizational development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary HR contact for MSNOW employees, partnering with HR Business Partners and leaders throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Support core HR activities including staffing, onboarding and offboarding, performance management, compensation and bonus planning, reporting and analytics.
• Partner with HR leaders on strategic people initiatives such as employee engagement, retention, organizational design, title and compensation analyses, career development, diversity programs, and employee relations.
• Provide guidance on workplace matters and help resolve concerns in a proactive, professional, and solutions-oriented manner.
• Advise employees on time off, parental leave and other programs; liaise with Payroll, Benefits and Talent Acquisition to resolve issues.
• Support objective recruitment strategies, diverse candidate slates, and collaboration with hiring managers and TA.
• Contribute to additional HR initiatives and projects as assigned.
