Job summary

UFP Technologies, Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with the HR manager and AJR leadership on talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll, performance management, safety, and employee relations. This on-site, full-time role is based in St. Charles, IL.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in HR or related field with 4+ years in manufacturing HR, is bilingual in Spanish, and excels in communication, confidentiality, and project management.

Qualifications

• BS in Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent.
• 4+ years HR experience in manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Bi-lingual Spanish required.
• Knowledge of Paycor payroll/time helpful.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong integrity and discretion with confidential info.

Responsibilities

• Ensures facilities’ compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices as well as federal, state, and local requirements.
• Process payroll using Paycor software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees.
• Executes HR projects, tracks metrics and manages benefit programs, worker’s compensation and safety.
• Leads employee relations initiatives to foster engagement and retention.
• Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Enhances department effectiveness by collaborating with staff at all levels and modeling integrity.
