Job summary

Bloom Energy in Newark, DE is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This on-site role supports multiple locations within Operations and Service, reporting to the HR Director.

You will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, handling complex employee relations and driving HR initiatives. You will lead workforce planning, performance management, onboarding, and talent development, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, psychology, or related field.
• 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing/operations.
• Experience conducting complex employee relations investigations.
• Strong coaching and consultative skills for leaders at multiple levels.
• Experience with HR metrics and workforce data analysis.
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily HR support to multiple locations.
• Advise managers on employee relations, performance, and policy.
• Lead complex employee relations investigations.
• Coach leaders on engagement, conflict resolution, and development.
• Partner on workforce and succession planning.
• Analyze HR metrics to guide decisions.
• Lead HR programs and change initiatives.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding.
• Support recruitment for key operational roles.
• Promote Bloom culture and engagement.
• Maintain HR records in Workday and produce reports.
• Create and update job descriptions for org alignment.
• Support leadership development initiatives.
• Manage promotions, transfers, contractor conversions.
• Conduct floor walks to strengthen relationships.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws.
• Assist with leaves, workers' comp, accommodations, verifications.
• Lead additional HR projects.
