Jabil is seeking an HR Generalist to serve as a key resource for employees and leaders, handling policies, investigations, and employee relations in a manufacturing setting. The role supports attendance, performance, onboarding, and development activities to ensure a positive employee experience.
This on-site position is based at the brand-new Byhalia, MS facility, with multiple shifts and a focus on compliance and workforce planning.

Location: This position will be based on-site at our brand-new manufacturing facility in Byhalia, MS.
Shift To Be Determined. Flexibility is preferred, as there will be multiple openings on various shifts.
Education Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience 2-5+ years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or operations environment supporting an hourly workforce. Demonstrated experience managing routine employee relations issues with guidance and support on more complex matters. Experience supporting performance management, attendance administration, investigations, onboarding, and employee engagement activities. Experience using Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and Learning Management Systems.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Working knowledge of employee relations practices and employment law fundamentals. Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions within established policies, procedures, and guidelines. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee matters with professionalism and discretion. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with managers and employees at all levels of the organization. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills using sound judgment and practical business considerations. Ability to analyze data, compile reports, identify trends, and draw reasonable conclusions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data validation). Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
