The HR Generalist I serves as an entry-level Human Resources professional supporting daily HR operations within a manufacturing environment. Working under the guidance of HR leadership, this role assists with employee lifecycle activities, onboarding, training coordination, HR administration, employee inquiries, and compliance-related tasks. The HR Generalist I develops foundational HR knowledge while providing support to employees and leaders and helping ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures. The HR Generalist I is expected to learn HR processes, build business acumen, and gradually develop the skills necessary to handle increasingly complex employee and organizational issues.
This position will be based on-site at our brand-new manufacturing facility in Byhalia, MS.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Basic understanding of Human Resources principles and practices. Strong customer service orientation and ability to build positive working relationships. Ability to follow established processes, procedures, and detailed instructions. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. Basic problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and build knowledge across HR functional areas.
