Job summary

Alto-Shaam is seeking an HR Generalist to join a dual-focus team, split about 50% Talent Acquisition and 50% HR Employee Relations. The role leads recruiting, onboarding and candidate experience from first contact through day one, while supporting employees and managers on workplace concerns, performance, policy interpretation, and employee relations.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of relevant Human Resources experience including recruiting and employee relations.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and procedures, with the ability to continually improve them.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving; outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and time management skills.
• Ability to initiate and prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast-paced, decision-minded, high-growth, and changing environment.
• Motivated, confident self-starter who can navigate and lead through change.
• Ability to work across multiple HR functions daily and with multiple departments and skill sets.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive situations under difficult circumstances.

Responsibilities

• The HR Generalist is a dual-focus role, split roughly 50% Talent Acquisition and 50% HR Employee Relations.
