Job summary

Alamo Group Inc. in Wooster, OH is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll and timekeeping administration, benefits, employee engagement, and training coordination in a manufacturing environment.

This role serves as the primary owner for hourly recruiting and payroll tasks, partnering with leaders to ensure policy compliance and effective workforce planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of progressive human resources experience.
• Experience supporting recruiting, payroll, employee relations, benefits administration, or timekeeping functions in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, applicant tracking, and LMS is preferred.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support hourly recruitment and full-cycle hiring processes.
• Assist payroll processing, timekeeping, and attendance tracking.
• Manage benefits enrollment and open enrollment activities.
• Provide guidance on employee relations and policy administration.
• Coordinate training, onboarding, and workforce development activities.
• Partner with supervisors to improve employee engagement and recognition.
