Job summary

Guaranty Bank & Trust is seeking an HR Generalist I to provide administrative and operational support across Human Resources. The role partners with the HR team to deliver a positive employee experience, handling benefits, LOA, recruiting, onboarding, payroll coordination, compliance, and HR systems administration.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, and onsite, with responsibilities spanning award administration, safety and wellness programs, workers’ compensation, and day-to-day HR

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in a clerical environment required.
• Prior banking experience preferred.
• Prior HR experience or education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and educate employees in benefits offerings and enrollment changes.
• Administer leaves of absence (FMLA/ADA/GLA) and LOA communications.
• Administer awards programs (Service and Retirement).
• Coordinate safety, wellness, and workers’ compensation programs with Corporate and branch staff.
• Support payroll processes, timecards, and HR system changes.
• Submit invoices for HR, manage exit surveys, and assist with certifications and reports.
