Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our Human Resources Business Advisory team. You will be a primary point of contact for routine HR inquiries, helping leaders and teammates navigate policies, processes, and HR systems.

This role emphasizes confidentiality, strong communication, and collaboration with HR Partners to support employee programs, records, and initiatives that improve the member experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a related field; relevant HR experience preferred.
• Experience supporting HR policies, programs, and processes.
• Strong communication, organization and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for routine HR inquiries from team members and leaders.
• Support the HR Business Advisory team with daily HR activities, processes, and administrative functions.
• Assist with the implementation and administration of HR policies, programs, and procedures.
• Provide guidance regarding HR policies, processes, and available resources, escalating complex matters.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence to support employee initiatives and organizational needs.
• Assist with routine employee relations matters, including documentation and follow-up under supervision.
• Support coordination and documentation of HR processes, employee communications, and departmental initiatives.
• Maintain accurate employee records, reports, and confidential HR documentation.
• Assist leaders and team members with navigating HR systems, processes, and resources.
• Support HR projects focused on improving the team member experience and operational efficiency.
