Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries, headquartered in Northern California, is hiring a Human Resources Generalist to support leadership at the Anderson main office and at multiple locations. The role entails partnering with HR coordinators and managers, handling recruiting, employee relations and payroll processes, and driving HR programs.

You will work closely with diverse departments, mentor staff, and help sustain compliant practices while advancing company-wide HR initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4 years progressive office administration experience including 2 years HR-specific experience
• Understanding of Federal and State employment laws
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
• Experience identifying and analyzing issues with good judgement
• Strong leadership, communication and people management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities to achieve results
• Proficient in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Establish yourself as a resource and partner with HR Coordinators and Managers at more than 20 locations
• Learn and grow in level of responsibility through identifying opportunities and collaboration
• Involved with recruiting, employee relations, training, employment practices and payroll processes
• Lead development and implementation of effective HR programs and processes
• Collaborate and mentor to improve recruiting, interviewing, and hiring practices at locations
• Engage with employees to answer questions and assist in investigations
• Gain proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems
• Monitor HR policies to find training opportunities
• Develop training opportunities and internal communications as part of a team
