Dreisbach Enterprises is seeking an HR Generalist to support its growing operations in Oakland. The role covers employee relations, payroll, benefits administration and policy development, reporting to the CFO.

The ideal candidate will help shape a large-scale HR program as the company expands its new Port of Oakland facility. You will partner with management to recruit, develop and retain a strong workforce in a warehouse-driven environment, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and

Qualificações

• Minimum five years in HR with at least seven years in professional office settings.
• Experience handling employee relations, payroll, benefits and compliance.
• Exposure to employment law, safety and workers’ compensation.
• Ability to manage confidential information with diplomacy.
• Experience working with unions is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead HR programs across employee relations, development and engagement.
• Partner with managers to meet staffing and productivity goals.
• Oversee payroll and benefits administration and compliance.
• Develop and update HR policies and procedures.
• Support compliance with federal and state HR laws and audits.
• Investigate and resolve employee concerns and disciplinary issues.
