Job summary

Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to provide hands-on HR support across the organization. The role emphasizes operations, compliance, employee relations, and performance management, working with employees and leaders at all levels.

This full-time position is based in our San Jose, CA office with a hybrid option. The ideal candidate will work independently and collaboratively, building strong relationships and exercising sound judgement while growing into the next

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field
• 5-7 years progressive HR experience
• SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification preferred
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices
• Experience managing HR policies, compliance programs, and employee documentation
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now onboarding, talent management, and benefits/ACA compliance
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to exercise sound judgement, maintain confidentiality, and effectively resolve issues
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• HR Operations & Programs: monitor inboxes, respond to questions, and administer programs
• Leverage tools to streamline processes and workflows
• Use HR analytics to support data-driven decisions
• Legal & Regulatory Compliance: ACA reporting, EEO, AAP, and VETS reporting
• Ensure policy compliance with local and federal laws through training
• Employee Relations & Engagement: act as HR resource and guide for employees
• Support performance management with annual reviews and development plans

Education

Bachelor's degree in HR or related field

SHRM-CP or PHR certification

Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to handle confidential information

Independent and proactive work style
